- AntiGrav v.2.0 by the Raj.
-
- ****************************************************
-
- Was originally released commercially, but nobody
- bought it. Boo hoo. Oh well, as a special (?) gift
- to everybody in the Comp.Sys.Acorn.Games group,
- I've decided to release it public domain, thus
- saving you a fiver on the release price. (Huzzah!)
-

-
- "You know that English cricket team?" asked the
- gruff old space captain.
- "I have observed them." replied the brash young
- antigrav pilot.
- "You know their chances against the West Indies?"
- "I have laid long odds on them, yes."
- "That's your chances, that is."
- "Oh buggery."
-
- The oxygen plant was the only thing standing
- between the newly colonised underwater sea base
- and extinction. And now a planet wide earthquake has
- knocked the filtration units out of sync. Only
- one man has the skill and mandatory low intellect
- sufficient to pilot the experimental anti grav
- equipped shuttle craft around the underwater oxygen
- hydrolyser plant and shut down the filter units.
- Can you do it? Can you save the station? And can
- Ipswich win the cup? These and many less important
- questions will be answered in Anti-grav!
-
- Your ship is equipped with a rudimantary anti
- gravity device. It will allow your ship to fall at
- a uniform rate. Boosters and magneto coils are also
- built in to ensure a smooth ride.
-
- Carefully land the shuttle on each of the thirty
- filter units to save sea base. Nothing can save
- Ipswich's chances now that they have sold Dozzel to
- Spurs so don't worry about them too much.
-
- There are eight increasingly difficult levels.
- Press P for password and then type the four letter
- ident code.

-
- After the ship has just blown up (and it will)
- you will be temporarily invulnerable but only left,
- right and normal thrust will operate until the ship
- is vulnerable again. And then you can quite happily
- fly too quickly into the ceiling and explode.
-
- After each unsuccessful mission you will be
- given a performance rating in a similar fashion
- to a certain space trading game. Remember, the
- Dark Wheel are watching you. Avenge your father's
- death and discover the meaning behind Raaxla.
- Deadly is as close to being dead as it is close
- to Milton Keynes. Or somesuch.
-
- "You know the England football team?" asked the
- gruff old space captain.
- "Yes, I know the England football team."
- "Well could you get Gazza's autograph for me
- then?"
- "Hmmmm."

-
- Copyright me. So anyone caught nicking bits will be
- locked up in a padded cell and read poetry to.
-
- Pirates.
- I hate pirates. I especially hate their
- stupid wooden legs and stupid parrots. And the way
- they say 'Ahh har har me hearties, jim bob and a
- bottle of rum on a dead man's chest. Pieces of eight
- and shiver mi timbers. Har Har." And stuff like that.
